Age: Looks to be between 25 and 35, usually claims to be 28. (With a sardonic smirk)Though most older Pure Blood Wizards and Witches might perhaps know he's likely older than that...
Blood status: Pure Blood... So far as anyone knows. (Though many suspect that fact isn't true...)
Personality: Words like cold, distant, quick to anger, mysterious, tricky, all-knowing, overly insightful, overly spontaneous and eccentric are some 'good' descriptive words for him... But it requires far more than that to fully describe his nature and personality... He's a master of illusions and trickery, so most of his personality reflects this clearly, every changing along with some agenda known only to him...
Brief History in Canon Jareth is the King of the Goblins, ruler of the Labyrinth and his kingdom, known as 'The Underworld'. And he has been for well over 1,300 years, He seems to be very much like the Fae of ancient legend... So much so that when a girl named Sarah makes a wish, stating that "I wish the goblins would come take you away... Right now.", they do just that, taking away her baby brother just as she wished! (Though Jareth had been paying attention to Sarah before then, as the Manga indicates, likely due to him having had a relationship with the girl's mother in the past) Though the girl quickly realizes that she didn't mean to actually wish her brother away, and so she sets out to earn him back, but to do so, Jareth informs her that she must traverse the entirety of the Labyrinth in 13 hours time, or her little brother will be lost to her forever...
Throughout this time, he watches her progress intently through a crystal ball, occasionally even stepping in to interfere and impede her progress, as he has developed (perhaps) a fondness for adopting Sarah's little brother Toby as his Heir... Just as much as he's developed a fondness for Sarah, apparently wishing her to fall in love with him... Even going so far as to offer her everything she could ever wish for... But she rejects his offers, instead deciding to return home with her little brother.
Background (AU!Canon; HP): Jareth is a very well-off Pure blooded Wizard, though many strongly suspect that his family line is nowhere near as 'pure' as he would lead them to believe... Either his far too silvery-blond hair, or perhaps other 'small' signs lead many to suspect there's at least Veela in his family line... Though that's not true, as he is in fact descended from a far more interesting Bloodline, one that ages upon ages ago saw 'fit' to breed with Wizards to fit in all the better... Though no one knows what exactly, except him. And he never answers...
Though he has been under suspicion by the Ministry for quite some time, usually for 'suspected kidnapping', though no proof ever comes to light on the matter, some suspect his family line is to 'blame' for the inspiration of ages-old Muggle tales of 'Fae' who kidnap and rehome unwanted and mistreated children... Though that isn't ever a matter that gets mentioned to his face... He tends to react poorly to the accusing attitudes of most that 'confront' him on it, and they can usually be found months later, wandering one of the many massive Labyrinths that edge his estate's property, trying to find their way out... Though no spells known seem to provide much 'help', though Apparating works once you get off his 'official' property.
Aside from that, he's best described as 'fairly eccentric', and no one fully knows how old he actually is... He looks to be in his late 20's, perhaps early 30's, though he's looked that way for a little while, and most of his family seems to age a bit differently than most Wizards...
Though he has a full education history on file, same with any other records and accreditation...
The only things known for 100% positive about Jareth are two things, he's a registered Animagi (he can transform into a Barn Owl), and he has previously dabbled in doing Curse-Breaker work for the Gringotts' goblins... And those facts can be found in multiple sources.
